Two phd students from the women* in physics group are going to give an interactive talk on some of the topics related to gender and physics that we have discussed in our group. In particular we will give journal-club style review talks on the two papers “How well-intentioned white male physicists maintain ignorance of inequity and justify inaction" and “Toxic workplaces are the main reason women leave academic jobs.
After each part we provide space for discussions prompted by questions that make the participants reflect on their own experiences.
